Ceclor 500mg Capsule is an antibiotic medication used to treat bacterial infections in your body.
It is effective for infections of the lungs (such as pneumonia), ear, throat, nasal sinuses, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues, bones, and joints.
It is also used to prevent infections during surgery.
Do not stop taking it until you have finished the course, even when you feel better.
If you stop taking it early, some bacteria may survive and the infection may return.
It will not work for viral infections such as the flu or the common cold.

Usage Instructions:
Ceclor 500mg Capsule can be taken with or without food.
You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals according to the schedule prescribed by your doctor.

Adults:

The usual adult dosage is 250 mg every 8 hours.
For severe infections (such as pneumonia) or those caused by less sensitive organisms, the dosage may be doubled.
Children:
The usual recommended daily dosage for pediatric patients is 20 mg/kg/day in divided doses every 8 hours.
In more serious infections, otitis media, and infections caused by less sensitive organisms, 40 mg/kg/day is recommended, with a maximum dose of 1 g/day.
