Clarithromycin belongs to a class of drugs called macrolide antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

How to Use Clarimac 500 mg Tablets
Take this medicine as directed by your doctor.
Dosages depend on the site and severity of the infection.
The usual dose is 500 mg every 12 hours.
In children, dosages are calculated based on the child's body weight in mg/kg/day. The usual dose is 15 - 20 mg/kg/day.
