Sodium Cromoglicate 40 mg, Tetryzoline Hydrochloride 0.5 mg Eye Drops
Why Cromoglicate / Tetryzoline is used:
It is used to prevent itching, swelling, and watery eyes. It reduces redness, swelling, and congestion of the ocular mucous membranes. It helps relieve eye symptoms caused by allergies.
Do not use Cromoglicate / Tetryzoline:
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the other ingredients in this medicine.
Additionally, it should not be used if you have the following conditions:
• Acute attack of bronchospasm
• Children under 6 years of age
• Hypersensitivity
• Infants under 2 years of age
• Pregnancy
Warnings and Precautions:
All eye drops can cause short-term blurred vision when first used, so you should wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.
If you wear soft contact lenses: Do not use the drops while the contact lenses are in your eyes. Wait 10 to 15 minutes after using the eye drops before reinserting your lenses.
Possible Side Effects:
Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience throat tightness, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing. Stop using the product if you experience hives or itching of the face or body.
Other Medicines and Cromoglicate / Tetryzoline:
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor or pharmacist about all prescription and non-prescription/herbal products you may use, especially: MAO inhibitors (linezolid, methylene blue, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, rasagiline, safinamide, selegiline, isocarboxazid, tranylcypromine), guanethidine, and tricyclic antidepressants (such as amitriptyline).
How to use Cromoglicate / Tetryzoline:
Place 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) three to four times daily or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
How to store Cromoglicate / Tetryzoline:
Store medicines at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Do not freeze medicines unless required by the package insert. Keep medicines out of reach of children.
Do not flush medicines down the toilet or pour them into the drain unless instructed to do so.
