Mechanism of Action of Amoxicillin
Penicillin kills bacteria by binding its beta-lactam ring to transpeptidase, the enzyme responsible for forming the bacterial cell wall, thereby preventing cell wall synthesis. Without a cell wall, the bacterial cell becomes vulnerable to external water and molecular pressures, leading to bacterial death. Amoxicillin is similar to penicillin in its bactericidal action.

How to Use Remox 125 mg Syrup
Follow all instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.
You can give/take Amoxicillin before or after food. Space the doses as evenly as possible throughout the day.
Your doctor will advise you on the amount of medicine you should give to your child. The usual dose is 40 mg to 90 mg per kilogram of body weight daily, divided into two or three doses.
