Medical Uses of Emox 125 mg Syrup: Amoxicillin can treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including: Chest (bronchitis or pneumonia), Tonsils (tonsillitis), Ears (otitis media), Sinusitis, Kidneys, Heart (endocarditis), Blood (septicemia), Bladder or urethra, Reproductive system including infections related to pregnancy and childbirth, Abdomen, Skin, bones, teeth, and gums, Gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted infection), Typhoid (fever caused by a group of bacteria called Salmonella). How to use Emox 125 mg Syrup: Follow all instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist. You can give/take Amoxicillin before or after food. Space the doses as evenly as possible throughout the day. Your doctor will advise you on the amount of medicine to give to your child. The usual dose is 40 mg to 90 mg per kilogram of body weight daily, divided into two or three doses. Dosages may vary between patients depending on the severity and type of infection. Dosages can be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more of the medicine than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for the next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a forgotten dose. Other severe skin reactions can include: changes in skin color, bumps under the skin, sores, blisters, peeling, redness, pain, itching, flu-like symptoms accompanied by a rash, fever, swollen glands, and abnormal blood test results. Warnings and Precautions while using Emox 125 mg Syrup: Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Amoxicillin if you: Have a fever (high temperature, sore throat, swollen glands, and extreme fatigue), Have kidney problems, Do not urinate regularly or the amount of urine is less than usual. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines, including over-the-counter medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and nutritional supplements. How to store Emox 125 mg Syrup: Store below 25°C. Do not refrigerate the medicine. Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in the original package to protect it from moisture. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the box/strip/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
